The fireworks are estimated to go off at8 - 8.20pm, but we would recommend you to go to your chosen location early to beat the crowd and snag a good spot!

In commemoration of the country's bicentennial mark, there will also be fireworks being set off at theSingapore Riverfor the very first time in history. The fireworks will begin at 8pm on 9 August and will last for about 5 minutes.
If you want to stay at home to watch the National Day Parade in comfort, you can still catch a 4-minute fireworks display atselected heartland areasthe following day (10 August)! Check out the official NDP websiteherefor more information.
